Last I knew Honeywell doesn't make turbos for Ford. So considering that how can ceramic ball bearings in stock turbos enter into a Ford conversation? OP asked about known issues....not swapping turbos.

Totally inaccurate as to the issues.
see info here: VNT DualBoost Turbochargers | Light Vehicle Diesel Engines | Our Technologies | Honeywell Turbo Technologies |
It's not the bearings causing the issues it's the compressor wheels.
I was wrong about the turbo manufacturing done by Garrett. |
I miss my 6.4, my 6.7 isn't as fast, but I'll try to change that:w2:

its deff a heck of a truck lacks some of the pick up of the 6.4 compund turbos but its smooth and reliable as can be. Actually after about 4 months riding the 2011 i had the opertunity to purchase a "left over" 2015 for about $40 more a month payment. drove in for an oil filter drove out in a 2015 Fx4 F-250 lariat 2 miles on the odomoter. Just today hit 18,000 already have my exhaust, (flo pro 4" downpipe back duals) just waiting to save up $$$$ for the tuner.
