Default Need advice on buying used 6.7 please!

Hey there well I think I'm finally gonna make the switch from a cummins to a ford. I currently have a 2012 fully deleted cummins and there is a 2012 power stroke that is also deleted eith about the same upgrades and custom lift as me. It has about 35k miles on his. Due to me not knowing one thing about ford's I was hoping to come to yall and get yall a advice and opinions on looking the truck over as to help me look for signs of motor trouble head gasket failure and tranny problems. I figure it should be basic about like a cummins. My idea is listen for strange noises but the motor eill be new to me so it will sound strange on its own. Please let me know if any ticking sound or something like thst I'd normal. If I'm correct while it's idling look at the coolant resorvor to make sure it's not bubbling or overflowing correct? Pull tranny dip stick smell and look at it. Look for oil leaks check oil dipstick for oil and is there anything to look for in the oil? Also just to clarify I should be able to take off oil fill cap and leave it there completely correct without it bumping up and down and stuff except due to vibrations of motor correct?. I think that's about all I know how to look for. Thanks so much in advanced!! Looking forward to seeing this thing tomorrow!
