i am trying to decide if its worth upgrading my 5.9HO CTD to the new 6.7? The reasons i am looking at upgrading are: interior of my truck is i have the slt and its terriable, the ride of my truck is rough to say the least (level kit). I also like the new bells and whistles the new trucks have.

My truck now has 98k on the clock so i figure i could get 20k ish out of it. Is it really worth spending 40k ish (used) to get the new 6.7? I know the mileage on the new ford is pretty good, i can pull 16mpg out of my cummins on stock tires using winter blend fuel which isnt terrible. OR is it worth putting a little bit of money into it ie. new shocks, leather/heated seats, new programer (currenly have banks 6 gun)?

I know this is all based on opion but i would like to hear from those that have had both trucks.

 

I was Dodge Dealer for 12 years, sold out, now I own a 6.0 and a 6.7, just my opinion.
