I have been driving my NEW F250 for 1.5 month, I now have almost 2,200 miles, I like it better than my 1999 7.3 PSD F250, The only thing that my 1999 F250 can do that my 2008 can't is use bio-diesel of more than 5%, but I don't use bio-diesel, I know that 2,200 miles ain't squat, but I'm happy with the NEW F250

i had the 6.0 for one year and in that year i replaced 1 injector and a few powerstearing pmps other than that it was a good truck so far ive liked my 6.4 more than my 6.0 but ive only got 13400 miles on it things still have a lot of time to change my mind

I have had my 08 f350 for about a year and a half, 13,500 miles. so far so good. It's got 35" tires and a 4" lift. Milage is around 12mpg, but love the power towing.

hey barefoot - How often does yours go into regen? mine does it about every 30 miles or so. Ford tells me two different stories - 1. Bad fuel 2. Its normal operating procedure - they just reprogrammed the pcm (for the 4th time since sept) and I've put about 200 miles on it - regen 5 or 6 times. Just curious how much other 6.4 liters are doing this compared to mine. I have other issues but this is one of them.

When I first took mine in it had smoked real bad twice and ran really rough once - never any lights or gauge changes - they reprogrammed the pcm and then it started saying 'cleaning exhaust filter' on the digital readout - they said the original program in mine would not show anything during regen - as far as I knew, in the first 30.000 miles, it didnt do it at all.
