I was just playing with them, when I said I only had $20,000 to spend, I got up to leave & the MANAGER to me to sit down, that he had to make a phone call, He came back & told me the best deal they can do is $21,698 SO I BOUGHT IT, I now have 1,243 miles & it's running perfect, my MPG are 12.8 to 14 in the city.
Power adds alot to the price, sounds like you got a pretty good deal. I thought I did until I hit 30,000 miles. It regened 3 times before that. The mechanics at the ford house hadn't dealt with one that did it to the extreme that mine was. I got a bulletin from another dealer that was sent out in Feb 07 that says its normal for it to do the stuff mine is doing - i bought mine in Nov 07. Going back to the dealership where I bought it (further away from me than the one thats been working on it) and asking them why they didn't metion that they were having issuses with these trucks when I bought it. I will keep y'all posted on whats happening so if anybody else has a problem like this they will know what to say or not to say. Preciate the advice and hope you enjoy your truck more than I'm enjoying mine.

HI 94cummins12v, Tell your dad to take it to the FORD dealer, cause that 6.4 POWERSTROKE has a problem, then come back and let us know what the problem was !!

I only have 1,536 miles on my 6.4 PSD, so far it's been great, I'm happy with everything except for the MPG, I'm only getting 14.36 in the city !!

I'm going to wait before I go crazy, and soup up the 6.4 psd, I don't want to have my warranty voided on this new engine.

I think this is the best truck FORD has put out, The frame is stronger, the brakes grip better, the interior is looks better, now we have a 5 speed tranny, more HP & TQ than any other POWERSTROKE !!!!
