some advice and knowledge please!
ok. i have been in the hunt for a newer truck for a while now. i have test driven everytruck forsale east of the mississippi. i am going to look at a 08' f250 supercab 4x4 6.4. what to look for? any known issues with the trucks? is it anything like the 6.0 issues? the truck and price is amazing. the dealer said the oasis report is clean. am i going to regret this?

[quote=monster12valve;810715]awesome... is there any egr....oil cooler....head gasket issues with these like the 6.0's had? i also saw something about a radiator issue? what is that? all the truck will see if i get it is a tuner, dpf delete, and cold air intake. do these handle those mods good?[/quo
The radiator issues were with the JOB 1{those were the ones built before 7/2007)

The 6.4 dosen't use DEF. I heven't heard anyone with head gasket issues on the6.4. They have larger head bolts to start with. As long as you do your maint. like Gun said you should be fine. Just do your due diligence BEFORE you buy it. Get service records, carfax, ect. And for pete's sake test drive it long enough to get every thing warm.
