I have a 2010 with dpf delete and a gutted cat. I run a superchips programer(I don't recomend it after yesterday) and i get in the 20's going down the road and 15-18 in town. I put mine in at 14,000 because that when i bought the truck. The superchip is good for a dd it just sucks at the strip.

Just Drive your truck like a normal human, towing with it from the begining is an excellent way to break it in. There realy is no set break-in period. Your truck needs the heat for the components to break-in, or seat in there location properly. I am sure your already through with that now that your in the 6500 mile range. If you baby it you will create problems down the road. Usually after the warranty expires. Tuning the DPF to regenerate less will get you better fuel economy. I do know of a few that have done the Delete and are experiencing 20-24mpgs highway.
