Default Any resources out there on 6.4 liter buy backs?

Know a guy who is having problems and is done with Ford. He doesn't want his 6.4 anymore and was asking me about it. I have no idea. I have read there have been a few who have been successful but I just need to know if there is any info out there about it or where to start. Thanks.

What, specifically is he having problems with?

Give him my contact info on here, and have him PM me the VIN and some other details and I will see what I can find out, and what avenues I can suggest to him.

Ok, thanks.

He would like to just have it fixed. He loves the truck and I do agree it is awesome. He complains mostly of the dead pedal. It's been in a few times for that and they can't help him. It seems to fix it for a while but it comes right back. Loses power. His buddy has the same truck with a V-10 and they pull almost the same trailers but the V-10 just walks away from him and the mileage seems comparable as well. He has a host of things wrong. He isn't a member here though. I'll email this thread to him and see if he will become a member so you can try to help out. Thanks.

Or give him my email address. big_angry_hillbilly@yahoo.ca

Where are you guys located? I'm gettin' to be pretty handy with these Powerstrokes, I'd take a look at it.

HOWEVER - Almost EVERY 6.4 truck has some level of 'dead pedal' ... except the ones with the tuners on them, that is....
