Default 6.4 Fuel Economy

New to Diesel Bombers I have been trying to find a sight with info for my 6.4 but no real luck. This seems to be the best sight I have found so far. Im looking for real info from someone who has actually used programers like the spartan programer and dpf delete. the guys at bank say most programers like the edge are pluging up the dpf but i dont think the banks system will help much with fuel economy if they ever come out with a programer. I am leaning towards the spartan but worried about warranty any help appreciated thanks.

Well IMO I Would Recommend The SCT Livewire.. Best Bang For The Buck, It Also Tightens The Shift A Lot. I Find Myself Cringing Less When I Pull Into Traffic As The Lag Is A Lot Better.

Noticed A Lot More MPGs With It Also, Have Not Done The DPF Delete As It's Still Classified As My Work Truck. But They Make The New Flash Easy To Do - Once The DPF Is Deleted Of Course.

Hope That Helps

Welcome to the site.

From what I have read on several other sites that actually have some ford guys on them, I would go with the Spartan. But you will have to get over the warranty issues if you are going to run any tuner. Most dealers will argue warranty issues after they have found out you have a tuner. And even if you set it back to stock there are ways they can tell its been changed.

some dealerships consider banks products "warranty friendly"

but not all of them

hey stewart the spartan is probly one of the best routes to go for the 6.4. from what i have gathered from the guys on powerstroke.org. it is another good site you should check out. lots of good info. just be careful and dont get too wrapped up in all the banks propaganda. i wish i would have found sites like these before i dropped all the money i did on banks products.. good luck man

FROM WHAT i BEEN HEARING, To get the most MPG out of the 6.4 PSD you need to remove the DPF, BUT you will LOSE YOUR WARRANTY !!!!!

I hope it gets better for you. I get 14 towing 14000 lbs with my 04 dodge. I wont be trading into anything else for a long time. I have 132000 miles on it now.
