Stock regulator necessary with regulated return
#11
Most RR kits will use some sort of block off on the stock FP regulator. Actually the best option is to swap in 6.4L oil filter housing and running your fuel lines straight to the heads. As far as fuel systems there's plenty of options...AD, FASS, or a complete custom setup. Key thing is ensuring FP is constant. With that being said in your research you may find 1000HP trucks running deadhead but using a custom fuel supply. Don't be surprised what people will want to sell you.

This basically means I need to rethink my plans then. Back to the drawing board. It seems like it would be pretty much pointless to swap engines if I just need to do all the same work over again so I will just build this truck up as my desired daily driver aiming for the 600 mark.
For the small price difference from 190's to 205's I would rather pay the extra $100 for the 205's from Warren. This is why I have my head wrapped around 205's (I like to maximize my money).
Difficulty of fabrication aside how would the stock compounds from a 6.4 do with 205's?
