Another 6.0
Well I guess I am slow to learn or just like punishment. Just picked up a 06 F450 that I bought last weak. When the engine is cold cranks right up and run great. Once warmed up will crank but will not start. Load tested the bats they are good, only has 140k miles, fleet serviced. I am thinking hpo leak what is the easiest way to test and isolate the problem.

It is going to be one of 3 things/realy 2/ The STC fitting on the high presure pump itself, very common problem. Next would be the dummy plugs in the HPoil rail, again a very common problem. the 3rd thig is the standpipes to the Hpoil rail. All the parts to fix this and even if one of them is not the culprit it's good to take care of it before it hppens to the one piece you don't take care of now.
To test for leaks you will need the adapter so you can hook up an air hose where the ICP sensor is, then you will need a way to energise the IPR to close it , pull the oil fill cap off and the breather off on drivers side and listen for the air, the sde you hear it is where its at, if its the STC fitting then you will most likely hear it on both sides.

Yeah I'd just go ahead and do the STC fitting and the standpipes/dummy plugs right away. They've all been updated. This sounds like classic STC fitting issues.
You can certainly test it like Bob suggested too, to narrow it down, but if you're digging in, you're going to want to replace these parts anyways.
STC fitting kit is like $50 I believe and the standpipe/dummy plug kit is just over $100.
