Ok cool yeah I went on autozon web site to see what they are going for and the part came up was "tranny speed sensor" or something like that. I'll check it out today hopefully

It should be WSS I believe, wheel speed sensor. They may call it the trans speed sensor though, not sure.

Yeah, the trannny speed sensor is located on the top of the 5R110's, and I think there are multiple ones? Make sure you diagnose which one is causing the problem.

Once I replace it will my abs light go off or will I have to take it somewhere to get cleared? My scanner has an abs function but when I scanned it my scanner said my truck didn't support this function

Yeah you need a separate ABS scanner I think, I am pretty sure, or you need a scanner that supports both abs codes and engine codes

The ABS light coming on randomly and the speedo acting funny are two classic symptoms of that speed sensor, take it out and clean it first, see what happens.

AE can read ABS codes without issues. I believe an SCT can too, once you download livelink.

I had my speedo quit working and found that the connections to the fuse box came loose. It had previously had the cab off for engine work and they were not connected properly.
so did that Fix the problem

Mine did the same thing the other day (06 F350) the next day was fine...no codes no ABS light..Mine is 2X4 and I think the rear axle sensor is for ABS, speedometer should be on my tail-shaft of he transmission. Will crawl under it tomorrow
