removing radiator?
Ok so i have to put a new radiator in my 06. I have the special tool for the trans lines. Does anybody know a straight forward way of removing it and putting a new one in? Also how much trans fluid will i probably need to get? I already run EC1 rated coolant so im just going to fill it back up after install.
Thanks for any info.

You should only lose 2 qts at the most, doubt it will even be that much but better safe then sorry. First remove the upper part of schroud, might be 2 bolts that hold it to radiator or screws that hold the upper and lower together on the sides, it would also help to loosen the rubber cover where you always set your tool, and loosen the plastic straps that hold the positive cable and pull that forward a little to give you another half inch of play. Remove the 2 hold down clamp, pull the lower schroud up a little then try to push the bottom toward the motor, it only has to move a little bit to clear where it clips into the bottom of rad. after you remove the hoses it should be able to be pulled straight up, that little bit of clearance from the battery cables is needed because it is tight.

With Rad out it is alot easier, you will need a pipe wrench or the proper Fan wrench, I loosen the 4 bolts that hold the stator schroud on and then put the pipe wrench on the fan to remove, give it a good pop with your hands to loosen it up then spin it off, you may still have to take stator and fan out at same time, after you get those out you can loosen the belt alot easier, then remove pulley from water pump and do your replacement.
