Shouldn't really need to replace the entire IPR, just get the updated screen kit for it with the new o-ring. It's cheap. I might even have an extra at the house I could sell you.

Got the heads on and just got all the rest of my parts. I got new exhaust gaskets, and bolts. I got new Torque converter bolts also. New oil cooler , fan clutch,and drive belt. The ICP was leaking,glad it was not the bed plate. Got a new Icp . Man this is getting expensive.

If only the money tree would grow faster. It is ok though, taking your time has a lot to be said for it.

 

OK a little further along now just bought a new ICP ouch not cheap. Got it almost ready to go in. Saturday I should get it in. Then maybe next week I can get all the front back on and running . Will post some pics Sat.

 

 

Well I got the motor in and making progress. A few pics. I got a few quirks to work out. The pcm is not showing the cam shaft sensor , I know harness or sensor , easy fix. I also have to re set the keys that may also be the problem not sure yet. I will post some more pics after I get the front clip back on this afternoon.

 

Ok I got the front back on and figured out that since the batteries were out for 3 months the Truck has to be reprogrammed . Looking good though with all the front parts back on. Just need to flush the motor and system again and reprogram the computer and reset the keys. Recharge the AC system. Then should be good to go.
