I have a 2004 F-250 (stock), when I hit a bump (big or small) I hear a popping sound. I'm guessing it is somewhere in the suspension. Any body else ever have this problem. Just looking for a starting point to diagnose this. Thanks in advance!

 

My brother in-law has an 04 He wrecked it in the front.. Not long after he got it back it started making a popping noise underneath I don't know for sure which bolts it was but there was numerous bolts that had started working loose these where tightened and the problem was fixed. I'm not saying this is your problem just throwing it out there

 

Check your sway bars end links

Check the sway bar drop links and sway bar to frame bushings.

 

Could be a number of things... balljoints, wheel bearings, sway bar end links, tie rod ends etc...

Jack the front up and start wiggling stuff. Mine popping noise was my tie rod ends.
