Info please
I have a 204 ford f350 with a 6.0. Been having problems with not starting. Everyone said replace high pressure oil pump.
As I was going into it I found a air hose hook up on passenger side going into tappet cover broken. Does anyone know what will happen with this hose off. Its a small 3/8 hose toward front of engine.
Also it is a 2003 or early 2004 6.0 as the intake crosses over back could I replace the intake with the new version that does not cross over?
Thanks for all the help

That small hose goes to the intake and is for the MAP sensor, that is where the boost is measured, it sends a signal to the computer telling it how much boost presure there is so it knows how much fuel to give it. Yes you can use the newer intake on the early motors.
