Default source for FICM harness

Hello everyone, new guy here. I'm changing my failed FICM and noticed the plugs don't click into the module-someone already broke the tabs. Where should I look for a good price on the ficm harness? Thanks, Rob

You should be able to change just the plug if you can find one, not a bad job at all.

If the harness is a PITA to change maybe I should just do the plugs. Does anyone here have a bad harness with good plugs they'd part with, or know a good place to get plugs? The dealer up here just sells the harness, not just plugs.

Well if you can't get it from the dealer the only other option is a wrecking yard .

The plugs on the harness are busted, or the tabs on the FICM are broke?

The harness shouldn't be bad at all to change... I've seen them for under $100 on the forums.

Is your truck an early 04 or late 04, I have the Ford P/N's for the harnesses. They're all different for the different years.

Early 04 has the ICP sensor in the back of the motor behind the turbo, late 04 has it in the valve cover on the passenger side. If your passenger side valve doesn't have a sensor passing through it, it's early 04.

They're around $170 new from Tousley Ford online.

Mdub, it the plugs that are busted. It's early 2004. (I changed the icp at the back of the motor, I managed to wedge my arm in there, but just barely.) A good deal on a new harness would be great. Keep your eyes open for me guys! Thanks, Rob

Honestly I can't really see a newer one being any different too, and I'd like to try a new one on an older setup, I bet it'd work.

The P/N for the 03/early 04 FICM harness is 3C3Z-9D930-AA Normal cost is $235, Tousley lists it for $155.10....

I'll keep my eyes open on the forums too.

Thanks for the help. I found the place where you can put out a mass request for a quote, maybe I'll have some luck.
