Default air dog does everbodys suck

ok is there anybody having problems with there air dog II pump going out. got one on a duramax work truck and it has went out 4 times in the last two mounths. they said that they burned up due to bad shaft seal. i want one for my 6.0 but dont want to be stuck on he side of the road due to a bad pump..

Haven't seen airdogs around here, but have seen quite a few FASS systems. The drivers I talk to seem to like them, no problems.

I've heard of way more issues with FASS than Airdog's. Nothing is perfect, some will fail no doubt about it.

yea i could see 1 but 4 in less than 4 mounths?

Hard to say without knowing the specifics man... could be an install issue, or could be just the pump itself, I've heard of something similar and AD replaced the whole unit. FWIW, they seem to be very good about taking care of their customers.

AirDog 100 or 150 would be a better choice. ADII units have had a roller coaster career.

im using the air dog II now and have had no problems but only have had it around 3 or 4 months and on the install i broke a fitting and they shipped me another one free of charge within 2 days. great customer service!

the First air dog kit two i installed was a bitch
the hoses were too long
i posted here
the pump ran for about six months then siezed
towed the truck back $$$
got on the phone to Air dog....numerous times...nobody phoned back...
finally three days later got i hold of someone...
Sent me a new pump assy
and 10 days later ...i could drive again....
The pump shorted out and blew the fuse...

See....Up and down for the AD II units. It just doesn't make sense.
