Default cab weight

Just curious how much just the cab its self weighs on a 6.0L extended cab truck? We are installing a hoist in our shop for basically this one purpose, to lift cabs off and i am curious what its going to take to lift it.

How are you planning to attach to the cab via a hoist? I'm not sure, but it seems like if you were going to do this more than once, you'd want to aim for the heaviest cab right? Like you should be looking for the weight of a crew cab, not a supercab.

I would think at least #1500 but I wouldn't use a hoist unless it was rated for at least #3000 for safety sake. Are you planning on using spreader bars with slings?
