Default Finally found a code. Anyone ever have same one??

Code is P0279. It's Cylinder 7 Injector Circuit Low. Anyone ever have this code and figure out what exactly it was or how to fix it? Only code found. Mechanic did tests on EVERYTHING for the truck and this was the only one found. Tested engine, trans, turbo, everything literally. 03 F250 6.0L CC SB FX4. only mod is 3 1/2 straight pipe with a turn down behind the cab. . any help or suggestions appreciated.

Cylinder 7!?! Man, I popped 1-8 when my FICM was puking! AFTER #8 was replaced.

But seriously, I had a code on number 8 injector when it stuck open. It was complete with that gasser V-8 "plug wire off miss" in the exhaust tone. I'm pretty loose with someone else's money, so I say change number 7.

Only code. I had one come up for crruise control but we didn't hit it when the scanner said to. I've used the cruise before to test it and it works fine.

I had a p0281 l that we found but it was just in the old memory and it never came up when doing any checks. Just wanna throw that out there

Yeah, probably injector #7. If you had some good spares I think you could technically just swap the electronics on the injector too, but sometimes that's more trouble than it's worth.

Sounds like a good plan of attack.

Rotella 5w-40 T6 is popular, Amsoil's is pretty popular, as well as Valvoline premium blue 5W-40.
