Default 6.0 problem help!!

ok so i just got my 6.0 overhauled and it leak from the main seal took it back got it back and it still leaks, then i use the damn thing for like 3 days then i stop to put diesel and after i put diesel i try turnin it on and it wouldnt, then it turned on then off quickly, it would for a little with starting fluid then it would die, i then i pulled it home when i was almost home while i was getting pulled i popped it in gear then whala it turned on i drove it home and havnt tried turning it on no more. whats my problem with my truck?????

So if i got this straight its exhibiting a hot no start condition. Need some more info about modifications and such. Sounds to me like a faulty HPOP.

My friends 24v had a similar problem with the no start problem and we started it the same way. It only happened once. We never figured it out. We think the injectors or the pump hydralocked or cavatated

Yup sounds like hpo leak or hpop failure

well it got a new block and low pressure pump egr deleted thats about it nothin thats not stock well see if it turns on tomorrow, oh when it died i checked the oil and it was low i put 10 quarts yea it was low remember it has a leak im takin it back tomorow i hope it turns on in the morning.

If it was 10qts low that's why it wouldn't run

yea but after i put oil and put new batteries it still wouldnt run untill i popped the gears while it was gettn pulled

The hpop reservoir was probably empty. At 11 qts low your getting in the danger zone for serious internal issues.

Maybe then again maybe not. Usually they stall before major damage but with any combustion engine the length of time operated low on or without oil is directly related to amount and type of damage.
