Hell no, I have an XLT not a lariat, I fill mine to the brim and then brake out the calculator, The worst Iv'e seen after the mods at 100k has been like 16mpg but that was jumping on it at every chance and being late for work so 80-85mph 60miles to work. Towing a 34ft goose neck enclosed trailer I get between 14 and 16mpg depending on wind.

The older programming on the FICM's actually will yield far better mileage. My 06 only ever got around 15 mostly highway, and I have the smallest cab/bed configuration you could buy from Ford.

I get the same mileage - worst I ever got was going from Phoenix to Salt Lake hauling a 28' goose neck with a large forklift grossing around 26,300lbs in 4 wheel drive in a snowstorm and that was 9mpg

i forget the actual tire size, they measure 31" I believe,, 265-75-16 I think, and yes the speedo is right too. Only time the truck was reflashed was back in 04 and I think it was described that they were deleting the program for the exhaust back presure sensor becaus they were having issues with that and the new programming would use other perameters to do what that was suposed to do. I Have a brand new FICM sitting in the cabinet so I might go ahead and do the resolder then send it up to Innovative and get the mild tune to go with my other mods to see if I can tweek a little more mpg out of it.

Different filter as in different brand? Or different as in it wasn't changed at time of service?

1. When was it last changed!?!
2. Please define "serviced". We tend to think it means oil, oil filters, air filter, and fuel filters (if due).

When was the last time you changed your fuel filters? Those need changed every other oil change. While some Bombers will disagree, I have followed the Ford 7500 oil and 15000 fuel schedule. Can't be too bad, I get 13~14.5 mpg on 35s in town and 16~18 hwy.
