Default For Sale: SCT tuner with IDP custom tunes

I don't have my 6.0 anymore and I have a SCT tuner loaded with three IDP custom tunes(extreme street, towing, economy) for sale. My truck was a 2006 6.0L and it was all stock. I want $400 for the tuner and I'll ship it for free. I still have the disc and the cord for data logging and updating and the box it came in. you can't even tell i even used it and its NEVER been left in the hot sun or been wet or dropped. This custom tuned programmer is $430 + shipping from Innovative Diesel Performance. The FICM/strategy number it is programmed for is the most common one for that year, I can't remember the number off hand. If you're intrested let me know.

I also have a brand new EGR delete kit from DiCAD Solutions that I never had put on. It's for sale too. I'll take $150 and I'll ship it for free. This is a full delete kit and is said to fit really well.

Let me know if you're intrested in buying any of these. You can pay me through paypal and I can ship it the following buissness day via priority mail. Get these items now before I put them on ebay!

They were all $430.... Back when I got my x-2 it was that price, the SF3 and the X3 are $430 now, with free tunes.

You don't need to send the disk either FYI, the software can be downloaded from SCT's website for free!

Not meaning to thread jack you, but Mdub, I'm trying to decide should I buy SCT Livewire for my 250 SC/LB or another X3?

you can get an SCT-X3 for $379 without tunes or $429 with custom tunes or a pre-programmed SCT for $539. mine is the one for $429.

Diesel Products - Ford 6.0L Powerstroke 03-07 - Electronic Performance

do you know if this tuner i got can be used on another truck with the same strategy number or is it somehow "married" to mine and has to be unlocked?

In order for you to sell it to someone else, you need to put your truck back to stock, and the tuner itself needs to have unlocks left. Every time you tune a new truck with it, it loses an unlock. So if you bought it new, it lost one unlock going on to your truck. They vin-lock to each truck.

$509 is for the livewire... that's a tuner and gauge setup all in one, that is above what you have. You have the handheld X-3, they're $429 with 3 free custom tunes, unless you go with an extreme tune then it's $80 more.

How many unlocks are left on yours?

i've only used it on my truck so, i guess all the unlocks are left. what do you think is a fair price? i've only had it about 8 months and only hooked it up to my truck about 6 times. i'm gonna look for the strategy number on my truck, i wrote it down when ford gave it to me. when i told innovative the number, the guy said "yeah, that's what i figured it was. that's what most of them are."

i did pay extra for an extreme tune. i forgot about having to pay extra for that. the tuner has extreme street, ecomomy, and towing.

It's tough, because realistically your tunes are going to differ slightly for 90% of the people looking to buy it, so anytime I look at buying a used SCT, I just plan on getting new tunes for it. They typically go for $250-$300. $300 would be a fair price for it. I've paid as little as $150 for some x-cal2's with 4 unlocks left. Of course, tunes are extra.

If you're lucky enough to find someone who has the exact same strategy as you then it will be worth more to them since they wont really need to buy tunes. Provided you are both using the same size tires too.

You could always read the strategy from your truck with it and post that just in case some of these guys know what strategy they have, then they'll know if it's worth the full price, or if they should offer less based on that.

Hope this helps.
