I was just wondering if anyone new whats involved with converting a 2004 front clip, to a 2008-10

I know the hood has to be changed, but if I built a custom bumper does anyone know If it can work with 2004 headlights

 

The 08 front clip wont work with 04 headlights. They wouldnt fill the gaps. Plus I seriously doubt it would look good with 6 inches of metal comeing up off the bumper to fill the gap.

 

The headlights aren't even close to the same. To do an 08 conversion you need:

Hood
Fenders
Fender vents
Headlights
Wiper cowl
grill
bumper
bumper brackets
bumper pad
bumper valance

There are a few VERY detailed write ups on powerstroke.org on how to do this. I think someone said the cost is around $2400 or so...
