Well I began noticing about a month ago that a strange noise began coming from the engine (I think). It sounds like a bunch of crickets playing their tunes from inside the hood. And well, every time now when i turn the air conditioning on, It makes a loud weird noise from inside the hood. A squealing noise. When the a/c is on, I just give it a little gas and it begins to make that noise. Could someone please tell me If it is the a/c compressor or something else? Thanks.

 

Can you get an idea where it could be coming from??? There are a lot of things that could be sqeaky! Any of the pulleys could be doing it.
