Where can i find the code for my door. when i got my truck the card wasnt in it and i dont wanna take it up to the dealership and pay $80.

 

WHAT!? Thats bullshit! I worked at 3 different dealerships and not 1 of them charged to get the RKE code. after i get back from takin my dad out for fathers day ill snoop around pts and see if theres a way to get the code or delete the code and enter a new one without having to use IDS.

 

I'm pretty sure you have to bring it in. Once you do you can change it to whatever you want, but pretty sure you need the old code to get a new one.

 

Was reading ahile back about teh door codes. I know I seen something about how to reset and or reprogram them. If I can find it again Ill reply back here.

i asked my dealer a while back and thats what they said but i might have missunderstood.
