Is this a 6.0? (quad cab is Dodge terminology, since it's not as big as what we call a crew cab, but bigger than our "supercab" which is an extended cab) Is that unloaded I take it? Something is definitely wrong with that. I get 13 towing a 5k lb camper driving like an idiot. My truck is a supercab 4x4 auto short bed, I get about 15 driving with tunes. Got about the same stock, but it's a lot more fun to drive tuned.

Could be a NUMBER of things, need more info about the truck, how it's used, if it's stock, last time it was flashed at the dealer, any repairs done to it, these kinds of things...

Any smoke? on start-up or otherwise? When's the last time fuel filters were changed, and last time oil and oil filter was changed? Need to get it on a scanner...

Good maintenance, no codes, automatic, he said something about getting it reflashed to see if that would help. The truck is well takin care of, He does have 33's on it.

I drive a 2006 6.0L F350 4x4 supercab longbed with 165k miles on it. I run innovative extreme street tune all the time and I get 14.75 - 15 mpg consistantly. Thats hand calculated and filled until I see fuel in the neck. And, I don't drive like a grandpa (anymore) haha!

If he has a really old flash, yes it could help. 33's are basically a stock size tire. Trucks that came with 20" wheels had around a 35" tire on them.

I've got same setup but short bed, same tunes, same mileage. I do get 15 driving it stock too, so being able to drive like an idiot with a hot tune and get the same mileage as stock is good with me!
