CSIPSD, where did you get your overhead pod? I have been looking for one and can't find it.

Finally took some pics for you guys...
A-pillar has Dipricol Optix Pyro, Boost, Trans temp (wish I knew then what I do now, totally wouldn't have bought these, would have went fuel pressure, EOT, and ECT) You can also see my Sirius dock too in the right Attachment 41665 Overhead pod, Isspro EV2's, fuel pressure and fuel level for my veggie tank. My fuel pressure is tapped into my vegistroke manifold, so it can read diesel pressure when on diesel and reads veggie pressure when on veggie, also lets me know when I have issues with purging or anything along those lines, when switching back and forth. Attachment 41666 I know there was questions about how the EV2's and the Isspros compared to the stock gauges, color wise. Honestly the Dipricols are dead on, but I really like the EV2's as well. Here's some comparison shots... Stock gauges: Attachment 41667 Dipricol Optix: Attachment 41668 Isspro EV2's (they're not as green as this portrays, the lighting was weird, but it is definitely a different green. Also note the pointers, the red's don't quite match either, but they're not as noticeable as these pics show. I'm still happy with them though! Attachment 41669 Here's a "project box" from Radio shack. This holds my vegistroke switches. Auto/off/manual switch on left, Purge switch on right, will be adding a coolant pump switch here soon. This box is around $5 and certainly beats cutting a huge hole in the dash like they recommend. Attachment 41670 Valentine 1, nuff said... Attachment 41671 JVC XG700 deck, reads USB and has aux in for IPOD in front. Attachment 41672 Next gauge and other parts waiting to go on. These all go hand in hand. That is a coolant temp gauge, a switch to match the vegistroke switches but with a blue light that will mount in that project box, and the coolant pump there to help circulate coolant back to my vegistroke tank for those really cold winter days. Attachment 41673 Any questions just ask...:c: |

Autometer sells them. I've got a 2 gauge overhead pod I will probably be selling soon if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I am going to look for a 4 gauge pod, EOT-ECT-Fuel Pressure-and Pyro. If I can't find one I might fab one, I have worked with fiberglass on other projects before and might tackle this on rainy days.

That's what I'm starting to think. I haven't looked at autometer yet but I think I may go with their gauges too. I might be able to save $75-100 vs. the EV2's and that would almost be a coolant filter kit.

Mdub, whenever you get ready to sell it give me a shout and ill buy it.

Is that radio Satellite ready?? what did that set you back? Is it satellite ready, but I already had the stand-alone sirius dock setup, which will work with ANY radio with an FM signal. The deck itself is the XG-700, ran about $200 new. They had a slightly less expensive version, the XG-500, but I don't recall the differences. I'm sure they're both obsolete by now, got it like 2 years ago. It's pushing a pair of Infinity Reference 5x7's in the front doors and a pair of Infinity Kappa 5x7s' in the back doors. Sounds good, but I really want to get an amp in there. I've had really good luck with JVC decks, used a ton of them. Had every one of the "el-kameleon" decks since high school. Loved those too. Just wanted to try out a double-din setup, and I like it! :c: |
