Default Programer for F 250 6.0L

i was just wondering if anyone had any good choices for a performance tuner. i want one that has good power that i can take to the track and blow off some steam. i understand the 6.0's have a bad rep. on head gaskets and i was also wondering if there was a way to prevent that from blowing . i guess what im getting at is im trying to make a race truck.

thanks for checking this out

Yes, exactly what he said.

Do you have any other mods currently? You'll want a nice 4" turbo back to help reduce EGT's and let it breathe as well. Nothing sounds quite like a straight piped 6.0...

A fuel pressure gauge is a must, tuner or not, as well as a coolant filter.

SCT with custom tunes is the tuner of choice. Your best bet is to buy it from one of the top name tuners, like Eric @ Innovative Diesel, Doug @ GoGo, Matt @ Gearhead, or any others you will see mentioned on the sites. When you buy from them direct, they usually throw the tunes in for free.

What's your budget for this, and will you also still use the truck daily and be towing at all?
