Default Tranny problems

Whenever i put it in drive or reverse it takes a second then kicks pretty hard into gear.
Also ill be driving along with less than half throttle and it acts like it kicks into neutral and the RPMs rev up.

not the expert but would say a tranny service could help. maybe some other members might have other options. Mine also started flashing tow haul which put it into limp mode.

From past experience, servicing a "crippled" tranny "can" turn out to be the worst thing you can do. I am no expert on this either but i have found that when changing fluids in a questionable trans. you are also flushing away the dust -gunk that has stuck to your clutches over time helping them still engage.
I'm sure there are folks on here that can give you a better recommendation but, until i knew the exact problem i would not change the trans fluid. It could be something as simple as one of the solenoids in the trans.

Sounds like direct drive is going out. Don't think there is much you can do at this point...

Thanks for the feedback, its weird now its not doing anything. Its like it has it moments. This morning it did it the whole way to where i was going. Then it ran perfectly fine on the way home. Thank god my brother in-laws father has a tranny shop and they are going to check it out for me.
