Default 2006 F250 IN CA EGR DELETE???

I have a 2006 F250. I would like to do a EGR delete but im not sure if it will pass smog or not. I have heard that the smogs are a joke and the guys doing them either have no idea what they are looking for or they dont care. If this is not the case is there a stealth egr delete that makes it look intact or possibly and alternative that is just as good? any advice would be appreciated!!

Yes actually there is, And its cheap if you can weld. You have to take the cooler off and weld plugs in both ends, then you have to cut the scoop out of your up pipe. Reassemble and Viola egr delete with stock parts!

If your worried about emissions with the delete you could put a bullet proof egr cooler from bullet proof diesel

UNless your in a rural area Id go with teh Bullet Proof EGR cooler. All though sometimes when doing a smog inspection some tech dont know what to look for and you could get away with it. But thats taking a chance. Ill be doing a delete when my truck hits 100k and goes off warranty. Only because I have it registered in a rural area where they dont do Bi annual smog inspections. Only time the inspections are done is when you either sell the truck are register it if it hadnt been done before.

The Bullet Proof is better then stock. Looks just a tad different as its built Bullet Proof. Here is the link to the site. BulletProof EGR Coolers

great. After posting my last response I now need to order my Bullet Proof EGR and Oil cooler. Degas bottle went from full to almost empty today. No smoke yet but its runing funny. Two times truck wouldnt start and after inspecting my EGR and inside the intake I found that inside the intake is one big gooey mess. Kinda like tar. Off to Ford next week and see what they will do about it. I dont want no OEM EGR or Oil coolers so got to find out if they will refund me the difference of cost from the OEM and the Bullet Proof?? Thank god it happened now and not in Nov when my warranty expires.....

There is a setup on ebay, generally around 150 bucks, blocks cooler at both ends has all the gaskets needed, it uses I think it is a 25mm freeze plug on the exhaust side of the cooler, put several of these in and there is no way to tell anything is changed
