How do I get someone to answer the phone or an email at innovative? I want to place an order for three tunes and can't get anyone to answer the phone or emails.

If you call leave a message, they almost never pick it up right away as they're usually in the shop working on trucks. Email has always been quick response, usually within 24 hrs. Seems like he returns emails more at the end of the day when he's out of the shop and writing tunes. Leave a message on the phone, they will call back I promise. I've never gone more than 24 hours waiting for a tune from those guys...

You are correct ranger518, it does take awhile to get your "Tunes" from Eric. I got a new "Tow Tune" yesterday. Indeed Eric is backed up, but I gladly wait the 8, 10 or 12 hours if I know it came from him. Unfortunately, that's the price you might have to pay due to popularity and him being meticulous about what he does.

You think 8 10 or 12 hours is a long time? Try getting tunes from some of the other vendors... I've waited a week for a tune before. Eric is one of the fastest turn-arounds I've ever seen. If you were joking then my apologies, hard to tell when someone is being sarcastic on the forums.

I don't need to go to another Shop for tunes as I trust Eric. No, I was not being funny about it, only conveying the reason why it probably takes up to 12 hrs. to get a tune. Usually, if I need something from him or need to talk to him, I don't have to wait that long. Waiting 12 or 24 hrs. for that matter, is no big deal to me. I know it's right with him and if there is a problem, he's on it.

As a matter of fact, I did have a problem as the original tune wouldn't load, but it was my XCal2 had the issue. The serial number was blank on it and IDP was extremely helpful on what I needed to do. Did it, called them back and they sent me the same tune, but set up for my serial number. They know their stuff in my book.

Well I like to talk to a live person when I'm giving them money. Also I have some questions that I'd like to answered. About my tuner and the tunes that are already on it. And why I get a check engine light. When I use a tune. Any tune. And if it will happen with the new tunes. I don't want to pay for them if I'm going to get a cel starring am me every time I drive the truck.

If you call IDP and press the Technical button you will most likely get a message to leave your number. They will call you back. On the other hand, you can press (1) for sales and usually someone will answer right away. As for CELs, you won't get bogus errors such as EGR errors after an EGR delete with their tunes. What year is your truck. If it is an 06 or later, I believe those are the ones that are vulnerable to throwing the EGR error. If it is another error then it might be valid.

No, he's using tunes that aren't even for his truck, and he's only getting CEL's when he loads those tunes up.

Just call and leave your number they WILL call you back.
