6.0s are fun but will cost money i bought one with a motor already replaced once they said the motor had 40,000 miles maybe 2,000 later the oil cooler broke i have oil in my radiator and some of the injectors are out also

Where on earth did you get 800 a pop for injectors? Try calling the dealer, it's not even close to that.

I would ONLY buy new from Ford, and I believe I've heard anywhere from $275-$325 an injector. Not cheap, but certainly not $800 by any means.

Those sound like Duramax LB7 prices... dealer calls for 22 hours or something to do all 8 on one of them.

I still don't think it would be that much.

Nothing hard to changing injectors. Unplug FICM and PCM on the valve covers, remove valve covers and oil rails. Unplug injectors using about a 11/16 socket to pop out the harness and a #10 metric socket (I believe) to unbolt injector. Pull it out and slip the new one in and torque it down. Slip the harness plug back in (original orientation), then install oil rail, valve cover and plug the FICM and PCM back in. Done. If you never done it before, simply make note of the removal process to reverse going back together. Two to three hours max. and you can do them all.

I have a 2005 with 108k miles and had the number 5 injecter go bad it was $250 for parts alone. love the engine otherwise. i run hotshotssecret every oil change and it helps a lot if i could go back i wouldnt do a 6.uh oh.....
