Ok what I have been using is a solus pro snapon scanner to monitor everythinng. Also when I mean rough it is not a smooth idle and if I excel on the pedal it will start to smooth out just a little but not all the way. I am also certain that everything under each valve cover is alligned.

Ok so im not sure were to go from here after letting the truck get up to operating temp I noticed coolant dripping from the exhaust now I know its not the head gaskets and its not loosing alot of coolantor evenbuilding alot of psi in the tank. So im not really sure were to go from here, whether it be the egr assembly or the oil cooler. I did run a code check with it running and the codes it came up with was egr flow and cylinder #5 contibution/balance fault. Witch tells me injector #5 is bad and there is a problem with the egr assembly. So my question is if I get a egr delete what does ot all come with?

Trace where the coolant is coming from. It could be as simple as a bad reservoir cap, or the reservoir itself may be cracked. Could be anything though... how do you know it's not the headgaskets? Last time mine went I had PUDDLES of coolant under my truck.

Just because you have a #5 cylinder contribution fault, doesn't automatically make it the injector, though that is most likely. How does that tell you there is something wrong with the EGR assembly? Valve or cooler?

If you get an EGR delete setup, it will depend which you go with, but the basic kit like RCD or Sinister come with a cooler bypass, a valve delete plate, a new up-pipe and my RCD kit came with the up-pipe gaskets.

Well because I just changed the head gaskets/ black onyx head gaskets with arp head studs also had head checked before installation. While the truck was running I got up under the hood and saw some coolant dripping from turbo. So I waited awhile thinking it was just left overs from before but its not it is even coming out of the tail pipe.

Ok gotcha, I should have re-read the thread and caught up on the info again. Sorry, I get confused reading so many threads a day. So you just did headgaskets and you have a coolant leaking out by what looks like the turbo? You still have the EGR cooler in there? If it is ruptured it very well could be going into the exhaust system. I'd order an EGR delete setup anyways, but that's just me.

Thanks for the reply. Thats what I am going to do I found some on ebay for as low as 150.00. Tonight when I get home I am going to pull the cooler and injector #5. Hopefully by the end of the week I can try it out and I will let you know what happens. I guess this all should be expected seeing as the truck has 183,000 miles on it.

My buddy has one with the same miles without a single thing on his oasis. They do exist, just not often.

Injectors going that long is a miracle though haha.

What kid did you find for $150? Make sure you get something that eliminates the EGR valve, something that eliminates the EGR cooler, and a new up-pipe to eliminate the stock up-pipe with the bellow in it, it will just crack without the support of the EGR cooler holding it. I'd recommend the RCD simply because it does all of this and it's the least expensive. The Sinister/MKM is the same setup. I think they have a "budget" egr delete setup for around the price you're saying, but it doesn't include all of that so just beware.

Well I got all the parts on but still no good. The coolant problem is fixed but now with it running it sounds like it has a stuck valve from the sound it is putting out through the intake. Also I am still getting the code for cylinder #5 contibution ballance. I am starting think that this motor is screwed cuz I am about sick of dumping money into this thing. Even though we only paid seven thousand for the trick

Did you replace the #5 injector and it is still giving you a code? The motor is not screwed. If the coolant problem is fixed, that is good.

Ok fellas I changed the oil and filter along with the fuel filters. Also found that the poeple we bought the truck off of must of put gasoline in with the diesel fuel, not alot but enough to make it run rough. After getting the truck to run smooth I found that the cylinder #5's intake push rod is bent along with the rocker assembly for the intake valve is broke. Does anyone know were I can get single parts without buying a whole kit?
