Factory gauges?????
How accurate ate the stock boost & trans temp gauge? I i I was thinking about getting a 3 pod pillar and was wondering if I should forgo getting a boost and trans temp gauge, since my cluster already has one?
boost is accurate. Trans is somewhat.... Do you tow a lot? If not I would skip the trans temp. If you are going to get a 3-pod I would get EGT, Fuel pressure and EOT.
But, I would recommend getting a Edge Insight. That way you can monitor EOT, ECT, EGT, Trans, Boost and more.

The only thing I tow is a 30" camper and it is only 9000lb loaded.
I don't want an edge because it is too easy to steal. I live in houston and work in a lot of different refinery so big wide open parking lot where my trucks sits for 12-16 hrs/day.

I think I found a way to turn a 3 pillar gauge pod into a 5 gauge. So I'm going to go with egt, temp (oil, trans, coolant) fuel pressure. I'm just going to put a toggle switch on the temp gauge so I can switch between the three.
