Default Coolant and oil in intake elbow

While installing my fuel pressure sender, I removed the tube running to the intake elbow and discovered oil and coolant inside of it. Can anyone help me out?

Oil is always going to be in there since the crank case vents into the intake system. You will have it in all of your intercooler piping and clamps as well... that's normal.

Are you sure you have coolant in there though? Usually if you have coolant in your intake manifold area, it's a ruptured EGR cooler.

Yeah, I'm sure. My cooler fubar'd about 10k miles ago and they had to do a full coolant and oil flush. Could that coolant be leftover. I didn't notice the coolant until I wiped out the tube with a paper towel. Saw the green against the white towel. I guess I need an excuse to go ahead with the delete anyway

You'd think it would go away after 10k miles, but I dont know. Sounds like a good reason to do the delete, I agree.

Have you had the oil cooler replaced or rebuilt in between any of this?
