With the stupid ULSD now your fine to run things like power service and cetane boosters to your fuel at anytime. One of the power service bottles is for cold weather and will keep your fuel from gellling if it gets cold around you

I run Diesel Kleen. Im running the white winter blend now (silver is summer). I bought the gallon size (costs about $12 at TSC). It tells you how many ounces treats how many gallons on the back. I took an old soda bottle and measured out how much is necessary on a full fill-up (38 gallons in my truck) I drew a line on the bottle and keep the empty bottle the DK and a funnel in my bed box. I pull up to the station dump the DK in the right quantity into the tank then fill with diesel to mix and VIOLA! I do it every fill-up because I'm already pissing away $100 so why not spend another buck or two and be safe!

I only run opti-lube products. They've tested VERY well in independent tests for lubricity.

We run the Ford fuel additive. Our STEALERship told us that if they prove we don't run it, our injectors won't be covered when they go.

There is no way they can do that. They can not FORCE you to run their crap. It's your truck, you don't have to run anything if you don't want. I've had my truck into a few different dealerships. I got an injector replaced no questions asked at one of them, and they never asked for records of anything.

I'm pretty sure the Ford stuff was just stanadyne? Not sure if it's true or not, but I know stanadyne didn't do very well on the lubricity tests.

How on earth do they even plan on proving you didn't run it?

I believe RAW has a ford fleet at work... it's not his own personal vehicle

Opti-lube? May need to try that. I'm playing with the redline oil fuel treatment at the moment. Honestly I don't see how anything can be denied if your injectors fail and you are using something that may score higher on a test than what the ford stuff does.
