i have a F-350 i get about 14.5 mpg right now is that about average or should i be getting more, and what can i do for better mpg and horse power

 

That's normal from what I have seen. You can always try to get more, but don't expect it. A good tune with an SCT programmer, an exhaust and intake will help, but like I was told from the very beginning of my mods... never mod for mileage, mod for power and if you get mileage, be thankful

 

And try some Rev-X. Finally went and got some and dumped the crap Ford sells for cetane boost. The Rev-X is way beyond better then the FordStuff. And I got about 3.5 miles more per gallon on my second fill up of the Rev-X. So averaging about 18.5 now compared to the 14 or 15 I was getting before.
