Puff of white smoke???
I just had new head gaskets, head studs, oil cooler, and egr block installed on my truck 2 weeks ago...i just noticed when i take off from a dead stop normal acceleration a small puff of white looking smoke comes out but only does it right when i push the throttle?
Will it do it in park or neutral? Try and see what it smells like. See if it smells like coolant, or fuel.
You say EGR block, did you just block off the cooler or the valve or delete both or what?
Who did the work? Did you get the heads decked and pressure checked?

It does it in drive...like say stopping at a stop sign then going, right at takeoff. I have the egr valve. My buddy is a service manager at ford. So ford did the work.

Seems to only be doing it more when the engine is still cold. Like this morning I could see it good with headlights behind me going to work still dark outside.

That is the same thing my 06 is doing gets worse when i am pulling a trailer but it to seams to get better when the truck warms up but some days it does not do it at all go figure and it is still under warraty but they will just say nothing is wrong with it so i am trying to find out for them let me know what you find out. Thanks
yea but eaven in the sumer time when it is 100 deg outside mine will do it if it has been sitting all day. Like i fish alot and after a day of fishing (8-10 hours) my buddy will back my truck in and i will load my boat on it and when he pulls back up the ramp i will get a cloud of whit smoke in my face?
