Take it off and put straight pipe in there. It will lower EGT's and increase the cool factor! Sounds a lot better. Just straight pipe it the whole way. Remove cat and muffler.

Dfuser.com has some of the least expensive delete pipes I've seen. Everything unbolts to take it off and the delete pipes bolt back in, so it's reversible too.

Take it all off, sounds like a jet taxiing on the runway.

yea buddy, I plan on getting rid of the muffler. I am just alittle worried about straight pipe... I am a dad that has to pick my kids up at school. I dont want to fire it up and have all those parents setting in the pickup line to freakout and kick us out of the PTA ...Maybe I can tone it down a little bit with a magna flow muffler, but still get the benifiet of getting rid of the stock muffler. What do you guys think. Will magana flow muffler take down the noise some but still give me a better sound and better performance.

No, straight pipe it. It just has a vacuum cleaner type jet sound to it at idle, but honestly if you drive like a normal person you can keep the noise down like stock. It only gets loud when you stomp the skinny pedal, then you'll scare old ladies. It's really nice. Once up to cruising speeds it goes back to be quiet like stock. The turbo will act as the muffler. I say just straight pipe it now, if you decide its too loud for whatever reason then you can just toss a muffler back on.

Just ditch it all and you'll see what I'm saying. You wont be disappointed and you wont scare anyone in the PTA as long as you're not doing smoke shows in the parking lot melting rear tires.
