I am having some weird problems with my truck. If i take off normal everything is fine, but if I go to get on it it takes about 2 or 3 seconds then it kicks in but in that 2 to 3 seconds its really hesitant. Does anyone know what it could be?

If you had an injector not working, I think you would have more issues than what you're describing as well as smoke. Do you have a check engine light on? Have you tried reading codes?

A new turbo isn't going to help if it's an injector!? Hard to tell what's going on from here though. Some people consider the normal 6.0 lag terrible and others just know what it is. If it's just a little lag, than the stock turbo is the best solution.

Did you have the #7 injector replaced then?

How many miles are on the truck? What does it get used for? Any smoke coming out the exhaust at all?

I read codes nothing came up. There is 110000miles on the truck and i did not replace the injector i put some cetane boost in it and it cleared it up i use the truck for my daily driver and to haul stuff with. And no smoke is coming out of the exhaust.

Well if that's the case then my guess is it's still injector #7, there is no reason cetane boost would help a weak injector. I had a REALLY sticky injector in mine and had no codes at all. I finally added some REV-X and it did WONDERS! I would try that, it will surprise you how well it works. They are a sponsor on here now too.

Ok the cetane boost says it cleans dirty injectors and when i put it in my truck it seemed to clear it up. How much is that rev-x and how much should i get?

The biggest thing that kills our injectors is low fuel pressure. You're not running a programmer right?

Rev x was like $30-$35 for an 4oz bottle, and you need 2 bottles for your first time. It's not exactly cheap, but believe me it works AWESOME!

Find the thread in here that is labeled "rough starting/stick injectors" and read through that. A lot of us have had very good luck with the Rev-X. Haven't heard of one person who it hasn't worked for.

You can call Andy Wilson right at Rev-X, his number is 763-300-5036. Tell him I gave you your number.

How should i run my programmer i have a straight pipe exhaust, k&n air filter, and a sct tuner. That is all i have done as far as performance. I have been running it on the performance tune that comes with the sct X3 its suppose to add 150hsp and 2??torque.

Do you have gauges? You should probably check your fuel pressure and install the updated Ford spring if it is low.
