dtc is p0281 Cylinder #7 Balance Fault
now my question is what does this mean.

I borrowed this info from a tech from another forum...

Do a relative compression test, and an injector buzz test. If injector buzz test passes, and relative compression indicates all cylinders "pulsing" even, replace cylinder #7 injector.

No it doesn't. It COULD mean that, but most likely just an injector issue.

Injector issue or the signs of an early FICM failing in progress. Any other codes with it? and can you feel a miss in the engine?

Yes could be FICM as well. Usually you will start getting random injector codes (that will change every time you read codes) or you will get multiples. If you get just one code repeatedly, probably just the injector. Might be worth testing the FICM though since it's simple to do and free.

well i cleared the code right after i posted this and it hasnt come back

i can feel it missing at high rpm (layin on it to get on the freeway) im gunna take it and have a buzz test done to check it out bc when i had my head studs done i had the injectors tested and the guy told me they where good enough to last for another 50 to 100k if i used cleaner every now and then
