Well is the motor/tranny combo in the Dodge truck or in the Ford truck? From what I understand is you put a 5R110 behind a dodge motor in a dodge truck? That is interesting.

Call the guys at destroked.com they will tell you what you need to do.

The selector is electric on the dash in the ford. I would think you will need a to go to 2wd, 4wd and 4lo

Go manual! My electric shift crapped out on my in a water filled creek! Guess where I was I found that out??? Anyway, with a manual transfer case, I would not have had that issue!

I dont think you can just make the electric transfer case into a manual though, he'd have to swap transfer cases.

With Fords you have to change the transfer case. But if there is the option to choose, I'd get the Manuel version.

I'd call and ask, I really am not positive. I wish I had a manual t-case. I am not a fan of the electric ones. I've had more problems with the hubs than the t-cases though. I hate Ford auto hubs.
