The Rev X definitely helped a ton, without a doubt, but it just didn't last in my truck. I might try it again, I will let you all know what happens if I do.

The rev x is an oil additive, but this works double on our trucks since the injectors are fired off of the oil. The spool valve's stick inside the injector due to the really tight tolerances. The rev-x really helps prevent the sticking. Or stiction as some call it.

What type of mileage do you see? and what kinda savings have you seen in fuel costs? Any performance pros or cons?

About the same mileage/performance as diesel. Technically speaking diesel has a higher BTU rating, with WVO (waste vegetable oil) falling somewhere between gasoline and diesel for BTU's. This would normally mean there is less power in one gallon of WVO than one gallon of diesel, but on the other hand the WVO is so lubricative, it all but counters this effect. I believe a fellow vegistroker from another forum ran his on a dyno and did something like 430 on diesel and like 413 on WVO or something along those lines.

Savings of fuel cost depend on how much you drive. I just started a new job about 1 1/2 months ago. It was 75 mile commute one way for the first month until I moved into a new place. I did that drive probably 3 times a week, and stayed with friends the other nights. Now since I didn't have my filtration setup put together during this time, I couldn't filter my own oil. Instead I paid my buddy $1 a gallon for filtered oil. Even paying the $1 a gallon (it will be free when I do it), I still saved about $500 this past month alone. I spent about $200 on diesel and WVO together. If I had to drive on diesel only I would have spent about $700 in that same month. Granted I'm driving a little less now, but during the summer when I'm towing the camper up into the adirondacks, it kicks ****!

You still need to start and shut the truck down on diesel, so you will still need to buy some diesel at some point, but it's not often. I have a buddy who just drove from upstate NY to montana, using grease the whole way. He left here with a bunch of extra jugs and met up with fellow veggie users on the way out for refills. He went something like 2400 miles and didn't even use one tank of diesel. If you only count the gallons of diesel used, he avg'd over 200mpg on diesel.

I have an 04 6.0, And the last few days it started to rough idle and shake when you excelerate. And if you floor it, it will jump up and go. I checked the ficm, 48 volts. No fuel in the oil. No real starting problems. Every once in a while it will clear up for a few miles. There is no CEL, and no soft codes that I can pull. Tried returning to stock and it got worse. The truck has almost 200,000. Mods are sct with ID tunes, straight piped and intake. I think I am in need of some REV-x
