TRUCK WONT START NEW HEADS
Finished getting the truck back together today after putting new heads and studs. All lights and gauges work but when you hit the key to start the starter will not crank. Its not the starter because i went under the truck to cross the starter and it cranked over 100% but would not start. Any ideas or things to check?
Found the problem. Never had the positive wire conected by the heater motor. Now got the truck to crank but it wont start. Have oil presure on the gauge and have just under half a tank of fuel. Now what the %@$# could it be?
Can you hear the fuel pump run with the key on and engine off? If yes.
Did the fuel bowl / filter fill up? If yes.
Do you have a raw fuel cloud huffing out the exhaust? If No.
Start checking all of your electrical connections. Check for engine codes. Are you using the same FICM?
