Nice job MUDSTROKIN', I used to clean my EGR at every oil change interval.
I see that you are running tunes, can't you have them write it into your tunes to turn off the EGR Valve?

my egr valve looks about the same when i pull it out to clean. i use the same method and tools to. i don't know of a good way of cleaning the intake aside from removing it cmpletely and giving it a good cleaning. good job man and good post!

Forced - i don't have the kit yet to delete it and that's a 6-8 hour job. i just wanted ot clean it up in the mean time.

And diesel - i have an edge, they don't have custom tuning so what they send me is what i get.... i'm trying to get an SCT with custom tuning though i hear it's a whole different truck over the edge tuner

You just saved me a bunch of time tryin to find someone who has done this, my 04 turbo has a code showing the EGR has insufficient flow, I suspect mine will look as bad or worse!

This is a great place! Glad I found it.

so i guess i have a egr valve

the person before told me that the egr delete kit had been installed???

i guess i have to look into further.....
