I need some help.. my buddys single cab manual 2003 f-250 6.0 wont turn over..it drained both batteries and when we got them recharged it starts to crank but wont turn over.. the mph and rpms move to 5rpm & 100mph and back down.. i thought it might have been the camshaft sensor since my 01 7.3 had that problem..but we replaced that and nothin still.. please help me out.

 

Glow plugs maybe or controller. If it isn't turning over that means it isn't firing. Let's see what the others say.Oh when I say controller I mean Glow plug controller.

Hydrolocked? What do you mean by starts to crank? does the starter engage, turn the motor over half a turn, then not turn any more? Get it scanned if possible. Fan hub issues will cause it to not crank.
