i got a 05 F250 6.0 that smokes like a Train when it gets warmed up, Does this sound like the EGR Cooler. I pulled the EGR valve (which is new by the way) and i didnt see coolant but i havent jacked up the *** end and pressurized the coolant system yet. if it was a head gasket wouldnt it smoke all the time... btw it has 74k miles on it

Probably egr cooler/oil cooler mine blew white smoke when it was out . Although it blew it when it was cold and warming up. someone on here that is far more knowledgeable than me will be able to help , but with 74k it should be able to be covered under warranty for a $100.00 deductible. Hope this helps.

ok your turbo no offense is a piece haha, you do not wanna get into it. im gonna say if you have any problems just replace it or find a better aftermarket one.

 

What diagram for the turbo are you looking for?

If they repaired your truck under the cooling system diag TSB - they should have reconditioned your turbocharger as part of the repairs.
