I have the sct livewire tuner on my 05 f-350. Ever since I had the work done it idles choppy at stop lights when it gets warm. My mech. said its the tuning settling down but that doesnt sound right to me. Does any body else have this problem? I am running the canned tunes will custom tunes help with this could it be an injector?my list of mods is

ARP head studs
EGR block off
4 inch turbo back no cat or muffler
S&B cold air intake
Oil cooler
High pressure oil pump
SCT livewire
Airdog 150
Zoodad mood

 

Are you running any additives, or lubes?

 

Yeah I switch back in forth between lucas and a ceaten booster

Diesel Kleen on the ceatn booster? That has fixed my injectors clogging in the past. I doubled the amount to really clean them out when mine would idle choppy. So you can probaly rule out an injector problem. You might pm big angry hillbilly on this, He knows his stuff. I am sure he would be able to give you a complete diagnosis on your problem. And as far as my steering stabilizer, I think it really helps out on wash board roads and muddin. But I wish I would have went ahead and bought a dual stabilizer. Just for the looks of it. hope you get some answers on the problem.
