You will need to find the high pressure oil leak. It's pretty common on the 05 up trucks for the STC fitting to break, as well as the Dummy Plug o-rings in the high pressure oil rails.

If you have the right tools and experience, yes.

You'll need to close the IPR, take both valve covers and turbo off. Feed air into the system from the ICP port and use a mechanic's stethoscope without the end put on - so you can hear the air leaking. I'm going to say either dummy plugs or STC fitting.

Will this be a good time for arp studs.
Put a charger on it over night and it has been starting ok just a little slow compared to my cummins. Drove around for about an hour. BAH Do you know any ting about extended warranty for this truck good or bad idea.

 

Extended warranty is a good idea, but it's pricey.

If it is the STC fitting that is replaced/repaired you will not have the same concern as the new part is a one-piece design that cannot come apart. Every seal inthe system is prone to leaks, some more than others, but overall they're usually pretty decent.

It's unlikely they will have cylinder heads off for this concern, so studding it would likely be out of the question at this point.

 

Will the hpos make it hard to start or would taking off a programer have an issue, there are signs of a programmer (egt probe in manafold)

You need the Ford scanner to get the door code.

Play stupid about the EGT probe. "I dunno, it was in there when I bought it!"
